Additional Contribution Opportunities

There are numerous other ways to help Dove House while establishing a beneficial tax plan for your future.

Consider a gift in your will or beneficiary designations in your retirement plan or insurance policy.  In addition, during your lifetime, it is possible to make a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA directly to Dove House under certain circumstances.

You can use cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable lead or remainder trust with the Dove House as beneficiary.

Finally you can use a donor advised fund which gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Dove House and other qualified charities.

Endowment

Our Board of Directors has a focused goal of ensuring that Dove House will be here, continuing to provide critical services to children and families in crisis, long after we are gone!  To that end, we have established an Endowment fund through the Foundation for the Carolinas that, when the targeted sum is achieved, will ensure financial stability for Dove House in perpetuity.  Please consider your legacy gift of investing in Dove House’s guaranteed future by making a donation to our Endowment.  Your designated contribution will be appropriately acknowledged on a permanently affixed inscribed plaque in the Dove House facility.
